Parish Groups

We continue to walk at Planned Parenthood on Wednesday from 8AM to 10:30AM. We welcome anyone who wishes to walk with us, even if that is just for 15 minutes. Wednesday morning is when abortions are performed at the Planned Parenthood on Wicks Lane.

Each year the Pro Life Group provides bracelets to the children who receive their First Communion.
Thanks to all who use the pink envelopes in your packet to support a Respect for Life at all stages. The funds
help to promote an awareness of the evil of abortion, which thrives in the stillness of the majority.
Lets sing a little louder and be heard.  Pray for women in a pregnancy crisis and for the aborted children.

6th Billings 40 DAYS FOR LIFE Campaign Sept. 24- Nov. 2, 2014

Could you not keep watch for even one hour?"  ~Jesus (Mark 14:37)
40 Days for Life is a 24/7 peaceful, prayerful presence outside the abortion clinic in Billings in which at least 2 volunteers are scheduled every hour, around the clock, to pray for unborn babies & their parents; for an end to the fear, desperation, and deception that fuels the abortion industry; and for grace and healing for those who are suffering because of a past abortion. Please commit to being there at least one houreach week during these 40 days, to pray for those who can’t even pray for themselves!  Go to www.40DaysForLife.com for more information, or call Alvina at 860-5553 or 259-3168, or Amy at 962-3260. [Note: we are having problems with the online calendar on the 40 Days for Life website right now, so although you can sign up online, don’t count on the calendar to reflect which hours are already covered and which hours aren’t. Call instead.]

Hearts 4 Life - Youth and Family Activity Sunday, Sept. 21, 1:30-3 pm
Come join other youth in the greater Billings area and show your support for respect  for LIFE at all stages!  We will meet at St. Bernard’s parking lot (226 Wicks Lane), pray and “arm” ourselves with chalk, then walk the few blocks to the abortion clinic, where we will draw hearts on the sidewalk to show the women contemplating abortion God’s love for them and for their babies.  We’ll then return to St. Bernard’s for Fun, Fellowship, and Food (pizza & pop).

Life Chain:  On Respect Life Sunday (October 5), 1:30 – 3 pm
Join pro-life people from all over the greater Billings area for our 8th annual LIFE CHAIN: apeaceful, prayerful public witnessof pro-life Americans standing for 90 minutes, praying for our nation and for an end to abortion.  Line up, about 6 feet apart, starting on northwest corner of King Ave. and 24th St. W. and spreading out westward from there on both sides of King Ave.  Silently hold a sign (which we provide – stop by our table first, located on the lawn by City Brew, to pick one up), and pray for 90 minutes, giving witness to the sanctity of all human life, from conception to natural death.  (Prayers and hymns are printed on the backs of the signs for your convenience.)  We will be there rain or shine – or even snow!  Strollers, water bottles, umbrellas, and lawn chairs are all welcome.  For more info about Life Chains across the country, go to www.NationalLifeChain.org.
